About Benchmark

Like PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is an integral part of the Office of Government Commerce’s (OGC) Best Practice portfolio. The MSP approach focuses on managing change and delivering business benefits from a set of related projects.

Programme management is becoming increasingly important as a means of integrating complex activities into a focused delivery effort. Programmes may be set up to implement change in parts of an organisation, across a whole organisation or across a group of organisations. The drivers for change may be internal, such as the need to improve the quality of products or external, such as new government policy. The approach covers the detailed definition of the programme, the management of the project portfolio, through to the delivery and realisation of measurable business benefits.

We offer a single route to MSP certification through an intensive, 5-day course which includes the MSP Foundation and Practitioner examinations.
