Managing Successful Programmes
Like PRINCE2®, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP™) is an integral part of the Office of Government Commerce’s (OGC) Best Practice portfolio. The MSP approach focuses on managing change and delivering business benefits from a set of related projects.
Programme Management - Programme management is becoming increasingly important as a means of coordinating a group of projects into a focused delivery effort. MSP covers the detailed definition of the programme, the management of the project portfolio, through to the delivery and realisation of measurable business benefits. With its emphasis on stakeholder engagement and benefit realisation, MSP™ also allows an organisation to maintain a clear link between the programme and its strategic vision.
Certification - We offer a flexible route to MSP certification through our 5 day courses in Bath and London which includes the MSP Foundation, MSP Foundation and Practitioner and MSP Practitioner modules and examinations. Delegates may attend the full 5 day course or just the 3 day Foundation and return later for the Practitioner workshop.
No Pre-Course Study Like our PRINCE2 courses we don’t ask you to do any significant pre-course study if you attend a Benchmark MSP course. And again we’re prepared to back this up with our exam promise.
Rooted in the Real World Our MSP courses are delivered by practising programme managers. They will go out of their way to explain what MSP™ really means in straightforward, pragmatic terms with real-life examples. A realistic case study linked to our PRINCE2 case study is used throughout the course.
