At Benchmark we specialise in helping individuals and organizations to learn and use PRINCE2® and MSP®.
Far too many PRINCE2 and MSP courses are just exam crammers. Delegates are asked to complete a lengthy pre-course study pack and are then drilled in how to pass the exams. This is certainly not the best way to learn how to use PRINCE2 on a real project – and it’s not even the most effective way to tackle the exams!
A refreshing approach to PRINCE2 - Our approach is refreshingly different. If you attend a Benchmark PRINCE2 course you won’t just pass the exams – though you have more chance than with most training companies – you’ll also be equipped to use the method effectively and to discuss it with confidence at a job interview if required.
Like PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is an integral part of the Office of Government Commerces (OGC) Best Practice portfolio. The MSP approach focuses on managing change and delivering business benefits from a set of related projects.
Rooted in the Real World - Our MSP courses are delivered by practising programme managers. They will go out of their way to explain what MSP really means in straightforward, pragmatic terms with real-life examples. A realistic case study linked to our PRINCE2 case study is used throughout the course.
Plain English - PRINCE2 and MSP are incredibly flexible and powerful methods. Any approach to learning these methods needs to reflect that flexibility. At Benchmark we use a range of learning methods – including realistic case studies and plenty of real-world examples - and pride ourselves on our ability to explain things in plain English.
Focus on the Essentials - We don’t ask you to complete a pre-course study pack or try to read the manual in advance because we concentrate on teaching you the essentials. If you know what these are, and understand how to use them, we’re confident that you’ll pass the exams.
Benchmark Exam Promise - Our examination success rates are well above the national average so we are confident enough to offer one free re-sit to all of our PRINCE2 and MSP Foundation candidates attending a public class.
In addition, if you attend a continuous public 5 day PRINCE2 Practitioner Course or 5 day MSP Practitioner Course with us, we offer one free Practitioner exam re-sit. If you are just attending the two day Practitioner Exam Workshop prior to re-taking the exam then a £100 + VAT surcharge will apply.
Please note these offers are not available for on-site courses and we do require that you complete all the coursework and homework to the satisfaction of the trainer and attended the whole course without interruption.
Project Management Specialists - Finally, it’s worth remembering that we’re specialists in project management. All of our trainers are practising project managers as well as excellent tutors. And it’s not just the trainers who know what they’re talking about. Since we became an accredited training organization in 2002, more than 1500 delegates have successfully obtained a PRINCE2 qualification by attending a Benchmark course. Each one of them received the same first class level of personal support from our small but dedicated course administration team.
