Background
Quality and assurance are designed to enable everyone in an organisation to demonstrate that a change programme or project is being well run and that it is capable of meeting its objectives.
This course shows you how to carry out an assessment using agreed criteria to deliver an assurance about the quality of a project or programme. It is based on the Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3®).
Objectives
On completion, delegates will understand how to:
- Have understood the background and purpose of maturity modelling
- Be able to evaluate and select which maturity model components to use in order to assess project, programme and/or portfolio management capability
- Be able to scope and plan a quality assessment
- Be able to conduct interviews and gather evidence
- Describe how this approach supports industry-standard approaches like PRINCE2®, MSP®, MoP®, and MoR®)
- Be able to consistently rate evidence and determine the programme or project’s likely maturity
