Implementing new methods – a blueprint for success
Audience
Senior Operational Managers, Standards and Compliance officers, Financial Managers, Programme, Portfolio and Project Sponsors, Programme and Project Managers, Business Change managers
Background
Introducing new ways of working to an organisation is always a challenge, and especially so with new processes, procedures and methods because most people believe they are already doing things the best way.
Although there is usually careful consideration given to which method(s) to choose, actually getting everybody to then follow it needs even more thought because it requires people to change their behaviours.
The benefits of consistent use of procedures can be enormous, but only start to be realised once people start using the processes.
This course draws on the lecturers’ extensive experience of helping over 50 organisations adopt new methods, and provides delegates with a simple, pragmatic and proven blueprint for achieving successful implementations.

- Apply a proven process for implementation

- Overcome typical objections to following a method
- Establish mechanisms for tracking the benefits
- Adapt a method to suit an organisation
- Create a continuous improvement culture
